If you have an antenna analyzer like the AEA or MFJ units, the best way to tune your matchbox is to connect the antenna analyzer. These analyzers put out about 1 mW and you can see exactly the impedance. Note the settings for each band (or frequency within a band). Then hook up your radio and go -- no need for further tweaking. -----Original Message----- From: tentec-bounces@contesting.com [mailto:tentec-bounces@contesting.com]On Behalf Of Rick Westerman Sent: 2004 February 4 09:36 To: tentec@contesting.com Subject: [TenTec] Orion Question Is it possible to change the output power of the "TUNE" button from 20w to 15w? My watt meter peaks at 15w or 150w. It would be nice to have just 15w for matchbox tuning purposes.
