I wasn't disagreeing with that at all, and appreciate Bill's
observations on what works best in his environment. That kind of
information helps all of us. Just commenting (as Bill did, earlier)
that for 99.9% of operating, it isn't necessary to worry about the fine
points which may squeeze the last drop of S/N or other performance
factor out of the radio.
I suspect most users could leave the radio on out-of-the-box
defaults and would still be ecstatic with the radio's performance.
There's no reason for anyone to interpret all of the nuance possible
as somehow making the radio complex to setup and use without
several engineering sheepskins on the wall ... :-)
