And it has been said time-and-again and is probably worth repeating...that you
have 30-days to evaluate their products at no risk
(less shipping); well enough time to figure out if you want the product or not.
So, even though you may be contemplating a $3.3K
expenditure for the Orion, you'll pretty much know in a month's time whether
the features, QC, performance, etc. is up to your
expectations. If not, simply send it back for a refund. I know of several
ICOM, Yaesu, and Kenwood owners who wished they had an
equal opportunity to evaluate their purchased products in their own shacks
prior to making a "no turning back" decision.
