Hello all - again,
I apologize for my misunderstanding of the situation. I had not
considered the other possible uses of the external speaker jack for anything
other than a speaker! I do tend to use line output jacks for those "other"
applications. I do not see, however, that using an isolation transformer
would be a problem in cases where no alternate audio sources are available.
