I couldn't resist making some measurements on my Omni VI+.
Omni meter = 10 watts Bird meter = 2 watts
Omni meter = 15 watts Bird meter = 8.5 watts
Omni meter = 25 watts Bird meter = 30 watts
Omni meter = 50 watts Bird meter = 55 watts
Omni meter = 100 watts Bird meter = 105 watts
Measurements made on 75 M into a 50 ohm load.
I guess close is close, but only in horse shoes.
