Hi Alan,

On my OMNI D I kind have the same problem when switching from one band to
another. Most of the time I just wiggle the switch back and forth a little
and the band will come in great. I don't know if you've ever looked inside
of your OMNI D, but the band switch shaft is connected to a chain that turns
another shaft with the contacts on it. There is a little play in that chain.
