Good source for the 14 volt #756 bayonet base meter bulbs is Mouser
Electronics part number 606-CM756 $1.04 each. These run cool and won't
make your meter face droop. They are the proper replacement and have a
15,000 hr life. Don't use the cheap Radio Shack replacements, they burn
way too hot and don't last long enough to be worth putting in.
For all the little white indicator lamps on the older power supplies,
keyers, and the little known dial light on the PTO rigs. This is a 6 volt
50 milliampere indicator lamp. Mouser number 35LS065 49 cents each, it
is an exact replacement. Looks good to have everything lit up like new.
These indicator lamps solder in via wire leads and just slide into the
white lens from the inside.
I like ordering from Mouser, no minimum, good selection, and free updated
catalog every 3 months. http://www.mouser.com
Be sure to check the voltage of the meter lamps on your gear before
ordering. Some of them are 6.3 volts like in the Omni-V . You'll want a
CM47 or better yet CM755 at 20,000 hours 150 MA. I'm not really sure
about these as I've never had one burn out yet.
Get that rig Santa brought in top shape with a new set of lamps.

lights the way to the next century.
