Now that you mention it Pete, I think I must have been running
in a full screen DOS window under WIN98 during Phone SS,
because I used the Windows mixer to set up levels to and from
the soundcard. That worked okay. On CW, on the other hand,
I have had trouble with choppy CW, etc, but rather than trying
to shut down all the background stuff, I just opted to run in
MS-DOS mode.
As I get older I just get more confused!
