Sorry to miss this week's weekday contests, but I was in San Francisco
from Monday and only returned early Friday morning. But, I had dinner
Tuesday night with Rusty, W6OAT and about 12 other of the NCCC gang.
Great to see all of them, a few for the first time.

This Week's Contests:

1. South African Radio League High Frequency Phone Contest. 1300-1630Z
Sunday. 80, 40, 20M SSB. Exchange: RS + Serial #.

2. Adventure Radio Society August Spartan Sprint. 01-03Z Tuesday
(Monday night local). Exchange: RST + SPC + power. 5W maximum power.

3. Tuesday night 20M QRP Fox Hunt. 0100-0230Z Wednesday (Tuesday night
local). 14050-14070 CW. 5W maximum power. Exchange: RST, SPC, Name,
Power. Work only the two Foxes.

This is a light contest weekend because it is a "split" weekend with
Saturday being 31 July and Sunday being 1 August. Hope you all have a
good weekend, keep cool, and make a lot of QSOs. I believe K1TO is en
route from Florida to swap out my rotor this weekend weather permitting.

Remember that WA1FCN for ACG and K1ZZI for SECC are getting up 5 person
teams for NAQP CW (next weekend) and NAQP SSB (third full weekend in
August). No circle requirements. No club membership requirements.
Contact them and get signed up! 73, John, K4BAI.
