This Week's Contests:

1. NCCC NS and SNS. Thursday night local. Slow Speed SNS 0200-0220+
UTC Friday. Limit speed to 18 WPM until 0210Z and 26 WPM thereafter.
Maximum power: 100 watts. This week only: 20 and 40M only and same
band dupes OK after one intervening QSO. Usual one kHz QSY rule.
Exchange: Both call, #, name, SPC. Same rules for NS at 0230-0259Z
except no speed limit.

2. His Majesty King of Spain Contest, SSB. 160-10M SSB. 12Z Sat to
12Z Sun. Exchange: RS + serial # or EA province abbreviation. Work
everyone.

3. Ukranian DX DIGI Contest. 12Z Sat to 12Z Sun. 80-10M RTTY, PSK63.
Exchange: RST + QSO # or UR oblast (2 letters). Work everyone.

4. Marconi Memorial HF Contest, CW. 14Z Sat to 14Z Sun. 160-10M CW.
Exchange; RST + Serial #. Work everyone.

5. ARRL Field Day. 18Z Sat to 21Z Sun. Most all activity will stop at
21Z Sun, but field stations who do not begin setting up on site before
18Z Sat may operate up until 21Z. Almost no one does that anymore, I
assume because it is so hard to find new FD QSOs after 18Z Sun.
Remember the starting time is 2 PM EDT and 1 PM CDT. All bands except
WARC bands, CW, SSB, Digital. Exchange: Number or HF transmitters
operated simultaneously + Class + ARRL/RAC Section or "DX." Classes: A
= portable stations. B = one or two person portable stations. C =
mobile stations. D = home stations on commercial power. E = home
stations on emergency power. F = EOC stations. Hope many of you will
come out to the W4AN contest site at Idle Hour Park in Phenix City, AL
or your local club or group site. Persons who help with a FD site may
not work that station from home for point credit to the FD station.
Don't let that keep you from working other FD stations from home if you
are home during the operating period.

6. QRPARCI Milliwatt Field Day. Same rules as ARRL Field Day except
maximum power is 5 watts output and score are submitted to QRPARCI.

Everyone who comes to a Field Day and has a good time operating should
be a candidate for your contest club, the same as those who appear from
you club area in the claimed scores sections each week, but who are not
already a member of your contest club.

Hope everyone has a great week and weekend and a lot of QSOs. 73, John,
K4BAI.
