Ok I admit it...I've been really quiet this past couple months...since cqww
ssb I have had a lot of work commitments...
I managed to listen in on the cw test...I was flying from KH6 back to W6 on
Sunday afternoon and was able to listen in to the last 40 mins as we droned
along...I listened at the bottom of the band...heard K3LR and KC1XX duking
it out at the bottom...both were cq'ing and getting no responses...I did
hear a JA6 call them both but neither heard the JA6...If only we had been
able to do a multi-multi last weekened...

But we will be doing a Multi op effort for the 10m contest in a few
weeks...KS4Q, K2UFT, W4DD and myself will be doing a serious 10m
effort...we will emphasize both cw and ssb...we will be testing the
methodology of 2 radios and
lockout technology...our goal will be to work on the interference issues
between the rigs and derive more data for future operations...look for
us...we will probably use the call W4KZ....don't need any more qsl's at my
place...hi...its also a easy call on cw and ssb...and we want to surprise
people who don't recognize the call...we want them asking who was that
masked man...hi

just got a new roll of 50 ohm hardlline...1000 feet that will used at the
new qth ...that will allow hard line feedlines to 10m, 15m, and 20m....that
should be interesting...looking for some big tower...rohn 55 or slightly
bigger to go to 200 ft for the 2 ele 80....we will doing m-m for the arrl
cw in Feb and the WPX ssb in March...if you are interested in being a part
of either let me know...de Rick
