Time to get some chatter on the reflector about the contest season..
The CQ WW SSB contest is less than 3 weeks away. Time to get the =
suggestions going about what=20
preparations should be made between now and then.
My list:
1. update the .CTY file (when available) and then check it BEFORE I log =
the first contact during the contest.
2. Check all antennas to verify they work. CQP (California Qso Party =
this weekend is a good time to do this and still have time to work out =
any problems)
3. Clear the weekend with the wife.
4. Start watching WWV numbers and packet spots if not on the air =
checking out the bands.
