Not really. 20 MHz of split provides spaces for stations to call and be
worked. Some recent DXpeditions have tried to work the world in 5-10 MHz,
and the result was wall to wall callers, no spaces, and few got through. The
rates were awful, whereas the rate for FT5ZM has been excellent even while
working EU and NA at the same time.

Does anyone else think "up 10 to 30" is a bit over the top sucking up band
space on an already crowed band (20 meters)??
Perhaps the DX station encourages LID behavior with band space demands like
this ?

Any further reference to RTTY operators being "more professional" or better
ops needs to be discontinued. It's terrible to hear callsigns that should
know better calling on the CQ frequency, stations jamming the DX's TX
frequency, and the constant cat calls from the cops about lids and up.

The largest fault of today's society, "me first" and a complete lack of
common courtesy, has fully gripped ham operators as well. "I can't work
them, and I've been singled out because I called on the CQ frequency, so I'm
going to jam it and make cat calls" is absolutely atrocious.
