Moot? How is it moot when the ARRL is giving out wrong information?
Specifically: " For example, while the Report and Order mentions RTTY, it
also specifies that the signal must be less than 60 Hz wide. This is too
narrow for amateur teletype signals. Only a much narrower mode such as PSK31
(about 50 Hz wide) meets this requirement."
This is clearly in error because it ignores RTTY signals which occupy less
than 60 Hz. MMTTY (and probably others) have the capability to transmit 23
Hz RTTY. The ARRL should be made aware of this.
