I agree the WIN 8 system is very different from WIN 7 but there are very few
Ham Radio Programs available on Apple.  I think, for the ham and his wife,
Win 8 is the way to go.

Is not going to be quick.  There are too many bugs in the OEM versions of
Windows 8.  I've shelved *any* plans to update my personal systems so will
not have a Windows 8 platform at all.
