I worked Claude back on 24-May and he also said "PSE NO QSL" but I sent a
card
direct to him anyway (SAE+2$$) and just received his card on 9-July. I
sent along a snippet of my MMTTY log and edited out the "NO" and a note
in French thanking him for the new one :-)

Good Luck

Subject: [RTTY] QSL Info for XU7ABN

First, I apologize for this off-topic subject for the RTTY-Contesting
reflector. Hopefully someone has current information.

The good news for me was working Claude, XU7ABN from Phnom Penh, Cambodia on
20 Meter RTTY on 1-Aug-04 at 1348z. He was calling CQ USA and gave several
stations reports. His signal was excellent to Austin, TX. The bad news is
he was signing each QSO with

> VERY 73 FOR NOW, BCNU,
> NO QSL PLEASE, NO QSL...!!!.

Looks like my new one will be one for the log book only. XU7ABN is listed
in QRZ; however, a review of the Google listings (many from this reflector)
indicates the direct route did not work and the QSL manager listed was for
2001 contest only.

I can understand and appreciate the mail and other issues XU7ABN may have
with QSL cards that explains the NO QSL PLEASE, NO QSL...!!! message.

Does anyone have current data on how to QSL with XU7ABN?

73 de Dick, AA5VU
