Tony,
While things are new, and RFI is clener, take some SDR scans of the the
various bands... That way, if things change, you have a reference as to
what it can be...

Tesla's solar panel crew arrived at my neighbors QTH yesterday morning.
I spoke with the supervisor who assured me that the new Optimizers would
solve the RFI issue and that he would go over the entire system to make
sure everything was installed properly.
He mentioned that one of the reasons why the system was so noisy is that
NONE of the old Optimzers were grounded and that it's likely been that
way since the system was first installed back in 2016.
I watched the crew apply clamp-on ferrites to the cables coming from
each new Optimizer. They ran 3 turns through each core. They grounded
everything and twisted the solar panel cables where possible.
I'm happy to report that, after 8 years of dealing with S-9 plus RFI,
the system is now completely RFI-free! My daytime noise floor is as
quiet as it was prior to the solar panel installation - about 110~115
dbm on 20M.
There's still a VERY weak carrier detected every 100 kHz on some bands,
but that's nothing compared to the S9-plus noise that appeared every few
kHz on HF.
This is great news for those who are having the same issues with Solar
Edge systems. The hard part is locating the noise and hoping that you
have neighbor who's willing to cooperate.
I'm very grateful to Steve, W1EMI and the rest of the ARRL staff who
helped me with this issue over the years.
