This report corresponds to other reports we have received about Generac. They
have responded to the few complaints about RFI and have indicated to HQ staff
that they want to be known as the "RF quiet" system, so they are looking to do
as much as they can.

Subject: [RFI] Generac 16KW Standby Generator - NO RFI!
Hi all, I had a Generac 16KW generator installed early this year. The
generator is specced to power my entire house load. Luckily/unluckily
haven't had a chance to really try it out. Until today.
Today, we've been without utility power for a few hours, and I noticed
absolutely no interference to my HF radios! I didn't check VHF
unfortunately, I wanted to take advantage of the lack of neighborhood HF
noise!
Utility power literally just came back on, and I could see the noise floor
jump 2 s units. I'm sure a lot of this is installation, radio, and antenna
specific, but in my case, I'm pleased.
Happy to answer questions about the unit, but my verdict is, in my
installation, it seems quiet.
