Ask any newbie EE grad what makes up a 1.5 GHz clock in his or hers PC.
You'll get a reply of 1.5 GHz. But ask them how the square wave is made.
Still 1.5 GHz. Daaaaahhhhh........... They are totally oblivious when it
comes to Mr. Fourier. Who needs harmonics??? They just muckie up the 1.5
GHz clock. OK. Ask them what frequencies are contained in a sine wave.
They'll look at you like you're from another planet!! I, as well, have
taken all the Henry Ott and Bob German courses and then some. They're
absolutely required for the newbie EE grad trying to understand the mess
the digital revolution has precipitated. And, yes, we have an FCC that no
longer gives a rip about CFR47, Part 15, et.al.
But, please......PLEASE, if you are experiencing problems with a solar
power home installation, document it carefully and take it to the ARRL, NOT
FCC. FCC will ignore your problem submission. They listen, so far, to
ARRL.
