Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Jul 08 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Regions 2839 (N19W10, Axx/alpha) and 2840 (N27W83, Bxo/beta) were absent of significant flare activity. There were no Earth-directed CMEs observed in available imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low with a slight chance of C-class flaring on 08-10 Jul.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to continue at normal to moderate levels 08-10 Jul and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected background conditions. Forecast: The solar wind environment is expected to become mildly enhanced on day one (08 Jul) due to the anticipated arrival of a negative-polarity CH HSS. Persistent influence is anticipated on 09-10 Jul.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be mostly quiet on 08 Jul. Minor CH HSS effects are likely to result in isolated unsettled periods, with a chance for active conditions on 09-10 Jul.
