Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Dec 06 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was at low levels. The largest flare of the period was a C1 at 05/1806 UTC from Region 2790 (S24E03, Hsx/alpha). Both Region 2790 and Region 2791 (S15E36, Bxo/beta) exhibited slight decay. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low with a chance for further C-class activity on 06 Dec followed by a slight chance for C-flares on 07-08 Dec.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux decreased to background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels on 06-08 Dec. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, reflected mostly nominal conditions. Total magnetic field strength was between 2-7 nT. The Bz component reached a maximum southward deflection of -7 nT. Solar wind speeds were between 310-410 km/s. Phi angle was variable.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to be at nominal levels on 06-08 Dec.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be mostly quiet on 06-08 Dec.
