Others are having the same problems.
I found out that the code seems to be reading the wrong mode from the
radio.
If one sets no rig, the program comes up in cw and the cw functions
work.
(No rig control, ugh!)
If one saves this file and then restarts the program, if very briefly
comes up as CW until the rig is polled. Then it changes to SSB mode.
This maybe a function on the rig. This problem occurs with an FT100D
specified. The main op codes for this rig (except for the freq scale
factor) are the same as the FT1000MP. Specifying the rig as an
FT1000MP and faking it out so that freq is valid by using 20M (FT100
reports 7Mhz), results in the same problem.
So if you're planning on using this version, check it out sometime
before 1 minute before the contest starts.
