I'm setting up CT to operate on my fancy 733 MHz Win-98SE machine with some success. Rig control seems to be the problem. Keying works fine through the LPT port, thanks to much help from Pete, Ted and others last summer! Specifically, my IC-765 is hooked up to COM1 and works fine with DX4WIN. I'm starting CT by doing shutdown|restart in DOS mode, then loading my TSR for COM1. Port settings seem correct (IRQ4, 1200 baud, etc.), and work fine on my -486 machine. What am I missing here, folks? 73, Frank wb2bxo@arrl.net -- WWW: http://www.k1ea.com/ Submissions: ct-user@contesting.com Administrative requests: ct-user-REQUEST@contesting.com Problems: owner-ct-user@contesting.com |
