This started out as an FT# discussion. There is no chatting and  therefore none

I've been on the air for a long time — some my ham friendships go back into the 
1960's when I was a young "Conditional" licensee on Guam.

Maybe I don't understand "The Amateur is Friendly."

Yes, I agree. I will work anyone who calls me, whether I'm in a contest
or not. Recently, I had someone call me on the came band and mode
several times within a week. No problem. I worked him every time.
Incidentally, I hadn't been calling CQ. He called me after I worked
someone else.
