Hi Barry,
You have this partially correct. The club rules allow for you to count your
apportioned part of the W4RN score for GMCC. Operating remotely has nothing
to do with the scoring. You are correct, however, that you would not be
able to contribute to FRC as you no longer permanently reside within their
club territory.
As I see it, there's nothing to fix here.
