Unassisted scores typically beat assisted scores in all of the major
contests only because that is where the big dogs play. This is true even in
contests where multipliers weigh heavily on the score. Most of the previous
assisted winners will be bumped down the list as Randy stated. I agree that
this change will not have much effect on the top scores in WPX. Winning WPX
is about making QSO points (not totals) and of course working as many prefix
multipliers as possible.
