I use N1MM+ but like Dave I have a key paddle plugged in and ready to go.
Ready for anything.
I do rely on my own memory, however, risky as that may be.

I usually send
"PREC?", next try would be "Class",
"CK?" for Check/Year
When I asked for just one part of the exchange, many times I received the
entire exchange. I use a memory keyer with a paddle available. When asked
for fills, I can send with paddle more than once and give the op what they
requested.
Wonder how many ops have a paddle plugged-in?
It was a fun SS!
