Given the situation around the Crowne Plaza, it would seem that Ubering back
and forth to one of the other options would save money, be safer, and probably
provide a better night's sleep. I hope to be there in 2020 and that's what I
plan to do.

Well that was fast.
That's never stopped me though; every year, for the last 5 years, I've gotten
in by sniping cancellations, especially the week and even the day before
hamvention. It might also help to have IHG points and status (which my wife and
I obtained after churning a few IHG credit cards). I'll betcha this year is no
different.
If all else fails, there's a few nice AirBNBs near downtown within walking
(stumbling) distance. :)
