Insurance for long life as real strange voltages can be present during tuning.

Ive rewound enough from commercial ham amps to see what can happen.

I understand insulating between the wire and the core, but why do you need to insulate the two cores from each other?

Why is it necessary to wrap the individual toroids before stacking?
How about Kapton Tape instead of Scotch 27?
