There are some upsides..They take themselves off the air for long periods,
they help keep the tube mfg profitable and the xfrmr folks keep winding.
Then when it is time for the Big 10-4, the cycle starts again.

Totally agree Clint.

These are also the same clowns  that tune for maximum smoke and then blame 
the seller or manufacturer.

Id expect it from a CBer but not a ham who should at least a few smarts 
about RTM** and others to talk to before plugging in.

Its a sad view of the times Im afraid.
