Both were first time
mplifier owners and they thought an amp keyed on it's own after RF was applied

nytime this happens I try to remember back to my first experience with Ham
adio and how stupid I was made to feel because I didn't magically know
verything. Sometimes you just have to be patient and understanding, bless their
earts.
I think some CB foot warmers have "RF sensing" switching circuits. I know
've had several 2
eter amplifiers that did. (5 W in 35 W out) I don't think it is 100%
tupidity.
