In the USA you must bond your water piping system within 5 feet of the pipe  
entrance to the structure, this bonding CAN BE within the building and a bare 
or  insulated wire marked with green coding.  If you run a separate grounding  
electrode(s) or network  for your shack you must bond the ground system to  
the electrical grounding system same as with the water pipe.  The proper  wire 
can be run inside the house to connect them or a underground wire can be  used 
as long as they are bonded together.  Lou
