Use a clip lead to short out the key terminals on the SB200 and see if the
relay keys and the idling current comes up to normal.  That will answer your
question re the SB200.  Don't know if the TS940 relay contacts (pin 4 to
ground) can really switch the SB200 safely or not, that's a combination I
never tried; however the modern Kenwood rigs (like my TS850S) will not key
such a high voltage and requires an external keying interface to safely key
an SB200.
