There is a blue square in the Operation chapter with the title Beeper Button
Settings: Press and hold the clarifier CLEAR button when you switch the
power on.

Note that there is a misprint further down in that square: when setting the
pitch, turn the VFO knob (not CLAR!) while the double beeps sound.
