Hi folks,
It's that time again and we'll be at the usual location in DM12rr in
Southern California .
All bands from 50 thru 1296, will be taking a 3' dish and have 25 watts (no,
not missing a decimal point there:-) on 10Ghz - other bands are a question
mark as there it's usually slim pickings down here on 2304 thru 5760, but we
may take the extra exuipment anyway .
Hope to hear folks (especially the rovers on 10Ghz) on this weekend even if
it's just to stop by and pass out points or (even better), giving the new
folks a chance to sample VHF contesting .

this should be subject: too close to to qsos in progress....
I would try to get farther than 2.5 kc way from someone..
The average Joes radio have pretty poor 2.4 - 2.8khz ssb filters..
The grouch/call freq cop on 125 will be rxing all the way up to at
least 127.8, not to mention his radio is probably suffering some
compression from the signals on the open band already.... making any qrm
worse to him...
If there are people on 125 and 130 all s9+ I would imagine,
normally you in the middle.. would be qrming the both of them...
Should he be going totally off the handle at you.. to the point of
being harassing, especially on the air.. No.. he should not....
just my 2 cents worth...

Son KD0ASY. 6m for sure. 2m if the rain will stop to allow the
installation of a 2m beam on the tower.

W0ZQ/R will be out & about this weekend enjoying a leisurely rove through
the rolling hills & flat lands of SE MN. Will have 6m through 10gigs
along for the ride. The good news is that the corn is still only knee
high ! Looking forward to working a bunch of you.

John,
Will be QRV on all of your bands from 1800 ft in FM19bb. High power/big
antennas (on 2M 16 x 6-el Yagis pointed at you). Be glad to run the bands
with you. Give me your operating frequency on 144 and I will watch for you
or if you would like a sked, suggest a time and freq on 144 to hook up.
73,
Jim

The Normanoch VHF Contest Club will be operating from Sussex County, NJ
(FN21oe) this weekend on 6M thru 3.456GHz. Lots of power and antennas on
all bands. We'll also be taking a crack at WSJT on 50.260MHz (FSK441) when
or if 6M quiets down on Saturday night and Sunday.
Skeds are welcome.

John
