this should be subject: too close to to qsos in progress....

  I would  try to get farther than 2.5 kc way from someone..

  The average Joes radio have pretty poor 2.4 - 2.8khz ssb filters..
  The grouch/call freq cop on 125 will be rxing  all the way up to at 
least 127.8,  not to mention his radio is probably suffering some 
compression from the signals on the open band already.... making any qrm 
worse to him...
   If there are people on  125 and 130  all s9+ I would imagine, 
normally  you in the middle.. would be qrming the both of them...
   Should he be going totally off the handle at you.. to the point of 
being harassing, especially on the air..  No.. he should not....
