It has been mentioned that the IC765 is prone to key
clicks. These are especially bad if one is working
break-in and using the ACC socket ptt output as the
amplifier is hot switched on break.
I eventually got round to doing a mod on my rig/keying
system which somewhat softens the keying waveform and
prevents the hot switch on break. (And my apologies to
those I have clicked on over the years...) I would be
happy to share this with anybody interested.
