Hi all,
Mark, ON4WW is now QRV from Monrovia,
Liberia, as EL2WW. He is not returning to
the Western Sahara anymore. Keep an ear
open on 160, as he told me he will be QRV
soon. He comes home just before Xmas and
then returns to Monrovia. By the way, got the
S07WW multi-color picture QSLs from the
printer. I am answering the direct ones for the
moment. Expect to get the 5T5WW cards
from the printer before Xmas.
Mark is QRV with a loaned Icom IC735 transceiver.
He has a problem with this rig. When he goes
split the display shows him the split freqs but
in reality it does not transmit split. Anybody has
an idea to help out. Pse e-mail to ON5NT.
Mark is also looking for a small light weight and
compact linear (not easy to get over here, hi)
during his African trips. Should be very inexpensive
too, hi ... cause no guarantee it gets through at
customs when Mark leaves a country. E-mail
replies to ON5NT. Thanks!
73, Ghis-ON5NT
