- I'm wiring up a DIN plug to connect a FT-990 to an AL80A (a full QSK linear). Ive connected the neutral and hot pins. However, IIRC, the manual states that you connect Pin 3 and pin 8 with a jumper.

- Cant help there. Havent seen that issue. My issue with the FT990 is that on CW my tone seems to be 200 Hz above the receive frequency. I assume that this is a pot adjustment, but which one? 73 Rich N
