Dear Bob,

The photo shown of Clive's QS1R will work in a cool environment but is
not a thorough fix of Phil's problematic design.

Here is a photo of how I did it.  Please note the much higher power
regulators and note they are mounted on free air flowing heatsinks.
Additionally note the real heatsinks that I installed on the QS1R ICs
that get hot.  Also mounted on the inside of the case with heat
conductive epoxy is a very high power resistor which drops the input
voltage to a reasonable level before going into the low voltage
regulator that draws the extreme amount of current. Therefore the
resistor is dissipating the hat rather than the regulator.

My case has a small fan sucking air into the shielded enclosure and a
second fan pulling the hot air out. The added connectorized cable with
the read and black wires is for the fans.
