[Skimmertalk] Problem registering CW Skimmer

I downloaded the latest version (I think, the program says 1.8 but the
download link says 1.83), paid $75.00 to register the software.

When I enter the key in CW Skimmer I get a "key is valid and has been
stored" message. Yet when I restart CW Skimmer it says it is a unregistered
copy.

How do I get the registration to "stick"
