[Skimmertalk] Scheduling Skimmer band and frequency changes

I thought Skimmer users might be interested - I just installed and started
WD5EAE's neat little Skimmer scheduler app. It is deceptively simple, but
provides all the basic controls. You can rotate through certain bands
during certain periods, and certain bands at other periods (skipping, for
example, 10 and 15 after dark). You can tell it how long to stay on each
band, and change the time on a band to reflect your assessment of its
likely importance during a given time period. For example, you might have
15M only on for a minute until 1400, then stay on it for 2 minutes until
1600, then drop back to a minute until 2000.
There are a few bothers - the biggest is that the keyboard commands to stop
the scheduler, to extend time on a given band, and to move to the next band
appear to be active regardless of which program has the foreground, which
makes for some amusing outcomes when attempting to compose an e-mail when
it is running. Perhaps in a future version it could be modified so it only
intercepts those keystrokes when it is the active window.
