[Skimmertalk] Eterlogic VSPE Wisdom Needed (Pete Smith)

Hi Pete -

I'm using a VSPE Splitter to control my Mk-V with two programs - One of
the Programs is Commander from DX Labs. This could be N1MM or any other
logging program. The other is a small program I've modified to take the
"Clicked on" announcement from Skimmer, translates it to the MK-V's
command to change frequency, and sends that command to Com8. The radio
is connected to Com7 on the computer.

In the VSPE Splitter Com8 is the virtual port, Com7 is the data source
port. The following items are checked in the Device properties window:
Redirect modem registers, RTS and DTS.

The Settings for Com7 are Speed: 4800, DTR/RTS: NO, Parity: no, Bits:
8, Stop bits: 2, ReadIntervalTimeout: -1.

Hope this helps.
