"Close the windows" doesn't always work.
At many of the locations I was working from, salt spray was unavoidable and
my TEN-TEC got a bath.

It's just like many other hobbies; you're either "in the game" or you're a
spectator.
When I was younger I raced Sports Cars (SCCA).
On a good weekend I was able to tow my car home myself.
And sometimes my race car left the track on the bed of a wrecker.
But I was in the game!
