True. But knowing if has an oven would lower the expectations for
success and, if the alignment already seems daunting, sending it in may
be the least frustrating method.
I still say it's worth knowing. Besides, talking the Ten Tec repair
often gives me other tips for diagnosis and repair.

You might call them with the serial number to see if yours has the oven
before trying to align the radio.

BTW I like this radio better that the FT-1000MP that I sold. The
Ten-Tec , I just like a lot better. Should not have waited so long to
buy one.
