If you are experienced aligning older radios (and prepared for snafu's that
occasionally happen), I would suggest first aligning the bfo oscillators
(described in the manual under TX Audio Board) and then perform the TCXO
calibration described at http://tentecwiki.org/doku.php?id=563calibrate
>From my own experience, sometimes the trimmer caps need replacing and
sometimes the TCXO calibration is tricky.
It is arguable that the sensible option is to send it into the Ten-Tec
service department.

BTW I like this radio better that the FT-1000MP that I sold. The
