Dave, They gave me the option of further troublesooting, for a price. But
Paul basicaly said it's a logic board failure that they can't fix. I don't
know if the service ticket will have any more info. It's unfortunate that
some parts are not available, because these are great rigs. Personallly, Ten
Tec is probably the only ones that could come up with a reasonable
replacemet board, if that's what it took. But is it finacially feasible?

Did they narrow it down to an unobtainable chip, or just ...bad logic
board?
Some obsolete chips are hard to find, but still ...eventually...can be
found!

Well, my Omni 6 is in for repair, and Ten Tec has diagnosed a logic
board failure. Due to the unavailable chips, this means a dead radio.
I know this isn't the first and wont be the last of these great rigs
to suffer this fate. Has anyone out there come up with a fix?? Please
reply off line of any solutions.
Let me respectfully ask why reply off line? I would think this topic
would be of general interest to many.
