My favorite emergency fix to the PTO is to inject Triflow, an oil
containing Teflon ball bearings. It has at least for a good amount of
time, revived several Ten Tec PTOs.
My long term fix would be Dow 44 ball bearing grease which is a wide
temperature range grease.
The factory grease used to be an ordinary petroleum product, and there are far better greases on the market now. -Stuart Rohre K5KVH |
