Some of you here on this reflector asked me to forward user's comments on
the Eagle (from the Yahoo group).
Bertrand, F6GYY has an Eagle, a K3 and a TS-590.

Eagle has arrived this monday and it took me about 30 Minutes to go around
the little one. It is actually is the smallest amongst the 3:
TS590S being biggest, followed by K3...
1.8 Khz roofing with DSP is impressive... Already made a QSO with south
Italy...on 40 m ... It reminds me on my former Orion II....
It is the easiest to use amongst the 3...with a very simple menu.
Menu of the TS590S has got 86 entries....
K3 has got the worst ergonomy amongst the 3, for sure....
3 function potentiometers ..only on the K3....

TS590S will not do so good because its roofing filtters are a bit too
broad... Otherwise very good ergonomy, good construction, above my K3....
Receiver is quite good, approaching K3 only....
