Mike, What version LM391X did you use? (should the meter be linear, log, or VU)? Did you have to do any scaling/amplification? I looked at the Scout schematic, and couldn't figure out the current rating of the meter itself. (and the LM3914 displays voltage, correct?) -- because of the op-amp, is it basically driving between the voltage rails? I was thinking of using a Paul Wade (W1GHZ)-style module.
